Know who you are dealing with, before you pay them.
Every company here is read from Companies House. We publish each finding with its source and the day we read it, and we write down plainly what we did not check.

How to use the register
Three steps, no accountEvery result says whether it has been verified, and when.
Each line says what we checked, what the register said, and the day we read it. You can re-run any of them yourself.
We do not take messages, sell leads or stand between you and the company. The details on a page are the company's own.
What this register does not tell you

Questions
Where does the information come from?
From public registers, starting with Companies House. Every finding shows the register it came from and the day we read it.
Why is a company listed if it has not asked to be?
Because the register is built from public information. Listing is not a commercial relationship, and a company can ask us to correct or remove its page.
What does verified mean?
That a company passed our checks against public registers on the date shown. It certifies identity and standing, not the quality of any work.
Can a company pay to have a bad finding removed?
No. Neither a payment nor our badge buys the result. If a finding is out of date or mistaken, tell us where the source says otherwise and we will re-read it.
Do you take a message or a quote request for me?
No. We do not take messages, run quote forms or sell leads. The contact details on a company page are the company's own.
