Accessibility statement

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

• navigate every page, form and menu with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline;
• use the register with a screen reader: pages have one main heading, headings in order, labelled form fields and landmarks;
• zoom text to 200% and the page to 400% without losing content or scrolling sideways on a phone;
• understand every finding without relying on colour: each carries a text label and a symbol, not only a colour;
• read text with a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.

We test pages with automated tools (Lighthouse and axe), where the main page types currently score 100 for accessibility, and by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader. We test new page types before they are published.

• The payment form is provided by Stripe inside our page. Stripe publishes its own accessibility commitments; if you cannot complete a payment, write to us and we will arrange another way to pay.
• Some older guides were written before our current standard. We are reviewing them, and will fix any problem you report first.

If something on the register is hard to use, or you need information in another format, write to info@trustvalet.co.uk with the subject "Accessibility". Tell us the page and the problem. We reply within five working days, and we treat accessibility problems as defects to fix, not as requests.

If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which advises on rights under the Equality Act 2010.

This statement was prepared on 25 September 2026, based on our own testing, and is reviewed whenever we change the design of the register.
